Our Story: A Journey of Love, Culture, and Adventure

Our story began quietly, with two hearts connecting over shared passions and a mutual love of discovery. Both of us had traveled across continents to find new homes—he from the historic streets of Great Britain, and I, from a refugee camp in Thailand. Though our journeys were different, we each carried pieces of our histories: his love of British football and pub culture, and my connection to the Thai and Lao traditions passed down through my family. Little did we know, these threads of our pasts would soon intertwine.

We met at work, but our bond truly began during the late hours, working outside the usual schedule. As the hours grew longer, so did our conversations, and soon we found ourselves connecting over something much bigger—our shared fascination with the world. While we had so much in common, our differences were equally enriching, sparking countless discussions about the cultures, histories, and foods we both loved.

Food became an essential part of our relationship, bringing us even closer as we explored new tastes. From his traditional Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding, trifle, and sticky toffee pudding, to my love for spicy papaya salad with sticky rice, pho, dim sum, and sushi, every meal was an opportunity to savor the richness of our diverse backgrounds.

As our relationship blossomed, so did our love for travel. Together, we’ve explored the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii, the vibrant culture of Puerto Rico, and the tropical paradise of Saint Thomas. Each journey deepened our connection, offering new experiences and unforgettable memories. Whether marveling at nature’s wonders or savoring the local cuisine, our travels have become a blend of adventure, learning, and love.

Through it all, we’ve found in each other not just a partner, but a fellow traveler who shares our passion for food, culture, and history. His introverted charm and love for Liverpool Football Club, combined with my adventurous spirit, have created a life full of joy, discovery, and endless possibilities.
